Hi I'm Lucy
Twenty years ago I explored starting my mindset coaching career but felt I did not have the life experiences yet to show up fully for my clients. Well after 25yrs, life definitely threw many extremely challenging curveballs at me filling up that life bucket of experiences.
I was fortunate to experience early career impact, success, promotions and leadership that saw my drive and strengths to help me pursue my ambitions in Australia and USA. My previous corporate career included Senior Account Management at a global advertising agency Young & Rubicam, Snr Director of Marketing at campsix (software incubator), Head of Business Development at multiple top boutique Design firms in USA and Australia and Business Development consulting for software companies in USA.
All this came to a screeching halt when I found myself with 2 young children and facing serious mental and physical issues with my oldest after a drowning event at 4yrs of age. Shortly after my second son was diagnosed with processing and development delays of which I then pursued and partnered with the best resources available providing intense support for him the next 5 years. I decided to stop my career and focus 100% on my children and endeavoring to meet all the home needs with a third child in tow.
This was a very difficult chapter of my life as I missed my career identity and my self worth was closely attached to it. To top it off I was an expat with no immediate family for support. I was in uncharted waters dealing with these serious issues but wouldn’t have done it any other way. My two older children are thriving, amazing humans I am very proud of accomplishing whatever they put their mind to. And the third is a delight to all he crosses paths with.
As I found myself coming out of this very challenging time, my marriage fell apart and now in separation/divorce land just before Covid hit! It was for the best and once again I moved the boys and I to a place I could call my USA home and start my next chapter. Once the boys settled into our new life I found myself grounded post divorce was driven back to coaching to help other women in this chapter of life walk through the career and life transitions and hurdles with the support, love and guidance that I wished I had.
With my heart full and easy giggles you will find me hiking all over Marin getting lost in the redwoods with my dog Dixie, skiing up in Tahoe with whoever will join me and exploring any new experiences along the way. By the way I am a very proud Aussie!
